A new report from Page Six says that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have pushed back their wedding yet again because of the coronavirus pandemic.

When she appeared on Access Hollywood this week, the 51-year-old singer-songwriter explained why she and the 47-year-old baseball player chose to put their wedding off twice amid the pandemic.

Jennifer explained how she and her man had to shut their plans down not once but twice, which she claims people originally didn’t know. Lopez, who has been waiting to marry Rodriguez since March of 2019, explained how she and her man don’t care a whole lot about having a lavish wedding.

Jennifer says she and Alex have just put it on the back-burner for now. Alex and Jennifer are just waiting to see how things turn out over the next few months, including with the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting restrictions and mandates.

Lopez explained that the point of life isn’t to rush into something big, they want to actually enjoy their wedding and not push things. As it was previously reported, Lopez and A-Rod were in the headlines back in April when he joked that maybe it would be best for them to have a “drive-thru wedding.”

While on The Tonight Show, Rodriguez joked that it would be a lot “cheaper.” Approximately one month later, Jennifer admitted she was a little “heartbroken” about having to reschedule everything, but she said she told herself that it was for the best in the end.

This wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity couple had to postpone their wedding this year on account of the coronavirus pandemic. In case you missed it, LaLa Kent and Randall Emmett had to do the same thing during the start of the lockdown.

The couple reflected on their struggles during the lockdown, explaining how they were almost close to breaking up at one point because they were fighting all the time. A breakup never came to fruition. Another couple to call off their nuptials is Orland Bloom and Katy Perry, who just welcomed a baby into the world this year.
