Kate Lawler has celebrated reaching the start of her third trimester by sharing snaps of her growing baby bump.

The Virgin Radio star and former Big Brother winner stripped down to simple black underwear to share the next stage of her pregnancy with fans.

Looking down at her bump and cradling it with her hands as she posed on her bed, the 40-year-old personality beamed.

“Second trimester complete!” she captioned the set of intimate pictures.

“This pregnancy feels like it’s flying by some days, yet there are times when I feel like I’ve been preggers forever! ⁣ ⁣ “I’m also so grateful to have experienced an enjoyable second trimester, to feel our little lady moving more and more each week and to know that so far, there’s nothing to worry about and she’s doing very well inside my ever-expanding tummy.”

Her famous friends rushed to praise her snaps, with Alison Hammond commenting: “Look at this beauty.”

Love Island’s Georgia Steel wrote: “Your glowing. Couldn’t be happier for you Kate.”

And TOWIE star Lauren Pope – who gave birth to her own little girl in the summer – added: “Beaut.”

Kate and her fiance Martin are due to welcome their baby girl in February 2021 after deciding to start trying when the coronavirus pandemic disrupted their wedding plans.

“The wedding got cancelled and I wasn’t thinking about a baby at all,” she told Hello magazine.

“But when we rebooked it for the following year, a few of our friends and family said we could have a baby between now and then. I laughed.

“But then I turned 40 in May and suddenly I felt grown up and like I was ready for something and I didn’t know what it was.”

She added: “We realised we would have to start trying straight away to avoid having a newborn at the wedding. So we did. We gave it one shot. And it happened!”

Kate launched her Maybe Baby podcast in 2019, in part because she couldn’t decide whether or not to have kids.

“I’m not sure if I ever will be ready,” she told Sky News at the time.

“I certainly have thought about it a lot more since I’ve been with [Martin]… but I’m still not there yet and I just don’t know if I ever will be. So we’re asking ourselves a lot of questions. I’ve never wanted kids, for as far back as I can remember I’ve never been maternal.”
