Snoop Dogg became the unexpected highlight of this morning’s fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr with his savage commentary.

The 49-year-old rapper was invite to the Staples Center in LA to commentate on the hyped bout between the two legendary boxers – but as the clash spilled into eight rounds, ending in a draw, it was Snoop who stole the show.

Lighting up a spliff on stage before the fight, Snoop performed for the crowd before disappearing backstage to join Mauro Ranallo in throwing in witty one liners throughout the night.

During the Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson card, Snoop had viewers in stitches as he sang hymns, shouted “Oh Lord!” and exclaimed as Jake folded Nate like a chair.

But Snoop really stepped up his game when Tyson and Jones Jr came into the ring and started thrashing it out over eight long rounds.

The rapper savagely compared the two men to uncles fighting at a family get-together, telling viewers at home: “S**t, go ahead Roy. This s**t like two of my uncles fighting at the BBQ.”

“‘Get your uncle out of it, get him out!'” he mocked in a higher voice.

“‘Meet me at the back yard, I’m tired of this s**t. Come on. Meet me back there, uh?’ Get it, get it up in there, Roy, s**t,” Snoop finished.

Fans begged for Snoop to be more involved in sports commentary, with one tweeting: “Snoop dogg got me weak asf.”

Another wrote: “Big Facts!! Give that man a contract to commentate.”
