Following her hospitalization earlier this month, Tamar Braxton is finally opening up about her scary suicide attempt. The star confirmed the suspicions that she had tried to ‘end’ her life when she was found unresponsive and rushed to the hospital.
Tamar Braxton posted a long letter on her go-to social media platform, Instagram, in which she explained he struggle with mental illness and how feeling ‘overworked’ and ‘underpaid’ might have contributed to her extreme gesture.
The star also shared a picture of her and her 7 year old son, Logan alongside the 2-page long note in which she broke her silence about her suicide attempt.
The singer made sure to show gratitude to her fans for their support before going on to say that ‘I have without fail, shared with you my brightest days, and I know that sharing with you what has been my darkest will be the light for any man or woman who is feeling the same defeat I felt just only a week ago.’
‘It was only God’s grace and his mercy on my attempt to end my pain and my life that I am here to utilize my voice. Over the past 11 years, there were promises made to protect and portray my story, with the authenticity and honesty I gave. I was betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid. I wrote a letter over 2 months ago, asking to be freed from what I believed was excessive and unfair. I explained in personal detail the demise I was experiencing,’ Tamar Braxton explained to her followers.
