Big Brother winner Pete Bennett looks unrecognisable after ditching his signature bleached locks for a more natural do.
The 38-year-old reality star, who shot to fame when he won the £100,000 prize on Big Brother in 2006, has toned down his striking appearance in recent years.
It comes as Pete, who also famously struck up a brief romance with Nikki Grahame, gears up to appear in a new movie alongside Catherine Tate.
In recent pictures that surfaced of the television star, Pete still boasted a cheeky grin but opted for a more subdued outfit.
Instead of his bleached locks, that he often dyed various bright colours, Pete has debuted his natural dark tresses in a style that is longer than we remember.
Pete, who lives with Tourette’s syndrome, also opted for a smart casual look with a purple blazer and white shirt.
He finished off his ensemble with a pair of dark jeans and a smart pair of black-framed glasses.
Since winning the show, Pete has faced a winding career path after splurging all of the prize money on ‘bailiffs and drugs’.
In 2015, Pete appeared on Jeremy Kyle and explained that he had been homeless and also battled a drug addiction.
Reflecting on his dramatic ascent to fame earlier this year, Pete told fellow BB star Simon Gross that the money quickly trickled away.
“I was 24, I was a raver, it just all went on bailiffs, the tax man, drugs. It was a crazy whirlwind,” he said on Get Gossy with Grossy.
During his interview, Pete also admitted that he had made several ‘wrong choices in the past’ but did not regret what he has achieved so far.
Pete has since managed to turn his fortune around and is now pursing acting.
Earlier this year, the former reality star managed to land himself a spot in the coveted upcoming film, Nan: The Movie.
In the film, Catherine Tate would be reprising her iconic character Joannie Taylor for the comedy show.
In the auditions, Pete revealed that he made some bold choices that helped him land a spot alongside the comedy star.
“I went in there and called Catherine Tate loads of swear words, and she loved it,” Pete told The Sun.
“I called her all the names under the sun. And then I got the part.”
Although the movie was due to be released last month, it seems that the show was postponed because of the ongoing pandemic.
