Caroline Flack’s former boyfriend Lewis Burton has shared an emotional message on what would have been the Love Island star’s 41st birthday.
The 28-year-old model and former tennis player said he ‘missed’ Caroline as he reflected on the late star’s birthday with a touching social media post.
Sharing the message with his 198,000 Instagram followers, Lewis unveiled a throwback video that featured the pair laughing in a cute moment.
In the black and white clip, Caroline wore a pair of shades and a large coat before abruptly stopping in her tracks while Lewis walked ahead.
The couple then began giggling as they joked around in the footage.
“Happy birthday up there,” Lewis wrote alongside the post.
He added: “Miss u x.”
Lewis was dating Caroline in February 2020 when she tragically took her own life at her Stoke Newington apartment in London.
The couple were not in contact at the time because Caroline had been barred from speaking to Lewis during her bail period.
Just before her death, Caroline had learned the trial over an alleged attack on her boyfriend Lewis was going ahead.
Tributes have continued to flood in for the late Love Island star as her celebrity pals remember the television presenter on what would have marked her 41st birthday.
Other celebrities that have shared a message for Caroline was Love Island’s Iain Stirling, as well as Dawn O’Porter.
Caroline’s pal Louise Redknapp also penned a touching message in memory of the Love Island star.
“I want to always remember my friend and celebrate her as much as possible and to always keep her in all of our thoughts and memories,” Louise wrote.
“Happy birthday beautiful I miss you walking in and landing a big kiss on my cheek. miss you love you,” she concluded.
Olly Murs has also marked Caroline’s birthday with a touching message alongside a throwback picture of the pair.
“Happy birthday cazza!” he wrote on his Instagram.
“I do wonder most days what tik tok dance id see you doing, what Disney song you’d be singing too or what random what’s app message I’d get from ya but instead I sit here remembering the memories we shared, and that infectious laugh you had x miss ya.”
