Jennifer Lawrence was so overjoyed by Joe Biden ousting Donald Trump she ran down the streets of Boston in just her pyjamas.

The Hunger Games star says the election of Trump four years ago totally changed her view of politics.

The 30-year-old actress has been watching closely as Biden secured the votes needed to take control of the White House.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans have been celebrating the news, but Jennifer did it a little differently.

She didn’t even bother getting changed and as soon as Biden was announced as the the 46th President of the United States, she took to the streets.

The star is currently in Boston filming her upcoming movie, Don’t Look Up.

Wearing a face covering, pink bottoms and a grey top she ran up and down the pavement screaming.

She recently spoke about why she is no longer a Republican.

J-Law told V Magazine: “I’m voting for Joe Biden this year because Donald Trump has and will continue to put himself before the safety and wellbeing of America. He does not represent my values as an American, and most importantly as a human being.”

Speaking on the Absolutely Not podcast, she pinpointed the moment her political view changed.

“It’s extremely hard to talk about politics. You don’t want to. I’m an actor, I want everyone to see my movies,” she said.

“I grew up Republican. My first time voting, I voted for John McCain. I was a little Republican.

“I changed my politics based on the things that I’ve [learned]. I was fortunate to grow up in a Republican house where I can see the fiscal benefits of some of the Republican policies, and I can also see that the social issues weren’t in line with my views.

“For me, when Donald Trump got elected, that just changed everything.
