A man has been arrested after a video was posted to social media mocking Katie Price and her disabled son Harvey.

The video saw a man wearing blackface doing an impression of 18-year-old Harvey beside a woman who was impersonating reality TV star Katie.

Police confirmed that a 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sending an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message on Thursday morning.

Katie, 42, is currently in the Maldives and spoke to officers by phone earlier today, The Sun reports.

It’s said the mum will give a statement to officers when she returns to the UK.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “A 52-year-old man from Hastings has been arrested by police investigating an offensive video posted on Twitter.

“Police were made aware of the video around 8.40pm on Wednesday .

“The man was arrested around 4.45am on Thursday on suspicion of sending by public communication network an offensive / indecent / obscene / menacing message.

“He remains in police custody at this time.”

Katie, who is a campaigner for anti-bullying organisation Harvey’s Law – named after her son – initially flagged the video to her Instagram followers on Wednesday night.

Katie said: “Words cannot describe how upset I am this is so cruel. These people need reporting.”
