Actress Elsa Raven has died at the age of 91.

She starred in Titanic and The Amityville Horror, and will be remembered as the ‘Save the Clock Tower’ lady from Back to the Future.

Her agent confirmed the sad news of her death to Deadline, saying she passed at her home in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Elsa, whose real surname was Rabinowitz, was born in September 1929 and went on to enjoy a long acting career.

She started out on the stage before breaking into Hollywood and starring in a string of flicks.

Her first role was in 1970’s The Honeymoon Killers and she quickly landed a part in The Amityville Horror, playing the realtor.

She went on to star in In The Line Of Fire alongside John Malkovich and The Moderns, in which she portrayed Gertrude Stein.

While people might not think they remember her in James Cameron’s Titanic, they definitely will.

She played Ida Strauss, one half of the older couple who were seen lying on the bed together and cuddling as the ship sank and water poured into their room.

Elsa also had a number of TV roles.

She appeared in Will Smith’s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Seinfeld, General Hospital, Wiseguy, Days Of Our Lives and Amen.

Elsa’s final movie role was in 2011, when she played Mrs Harrison in Answers To Nothing.
