Strictly’s Max George jokes he’s been Tangoed as he shows off his spray tan

Strictly Come Dancing star Max George gave fans a cheeky glimpse of his new bronzed after getting a spray tan done for the show. The singer joked he’d been ‘Tangoed’

Strictly Come Dancing star Max George joked he’s been “Tangoed” after getting his first spray tan for the show.

The Wanted star, 32, is among the famous faces competing in the 2020 series of the hit BBC One talent show, with the first live show airing tonight.

He’s now completed the final step towards becoming a Strictly contestant by getting the obligatory spray tan.

Max videoed himself in the booth wearing a hair net as the bronzing product was sprayed all over his body.

He said: “So I’m getting a Strictly spray tan. First time I’ve ever had to wear one of these. Socially distanced spray tan of course.”

In his next video, Max showed off the results and looked thrilled as he pulled down his pants to show off his tan lines.

He joked: “Warm in London isn’t it. Look at those tan lines. Three minutes that took. Stay inside kids!”

Max’s next clip showed him waking up in bed the next morning hours before the live show – and he made a cheeky joke about the Tango he’s doing tonight.

He said: “Very excited. Although I’m not sure too if I actually need to turn up as I feel like I’ve already been Tangoed.”

Max will be performing a sexy Tango with his partner Dianne Buswell to Best Fake Smile by James Bay on tonight’s show.

Other stars competing include EastEnders star Maisie Smith, former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith and actress Caroline Quentin.
