Kim Kardashian ‘s close pal André Leon Talley has voiced his concerns for the star over Kanye West’s erratic outburst.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star, 39, was reportedly “furious” at her rapper husband after he made shocking claims about Kim and her family during his campaign rally.
While Kim has the support of her close-knit family behind her, the former Vogue editor-at-large has shared his worries for the mum-of-four, who was said to be “hysterical” over her husband’s behaviour.
He appeared on Monday’s segment of Good Morning Britain to discuss Kim and Kanye’s latest troubles.
“I pray for Kanye. I know Kanye and Kim very well. I am very concerned for Kayne, he is a brilliant artist and a brilliant creative genius and I’m very concerned for Kim and her four children,” André, 71, told GMB hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.
He added: “It’s very disturbing, it’s a very upsetting moment. I just pray for Kanye as a man of colour who has risen to such high levels of success. He’s on the Forbes magazine cover and everything… I hope he will keep his family together.”
Kate, 53, told the former fashion editor, who attended the showbiz couple’s wedding in 2014, that many “cynical” people believe it was a ploy to drop his album.
André revealed: “I have a sense this is real. I know them well enough to know. I know Kris very well and Kim… they have a solid family.
“Kim and Kanye have four children together. There is a family unit there and there is concern. I don’t think it’s calculated because of an album drop.”
André has been a good friend to the Kardashian clan for years, and has interviewed the family plenty of times.
Kanye shared a grovelling apology to his wife over the weekend after his outburst at the rally.
He shared “private details” of their heartbreaking conversation about aborting their daughter North, seven.
The musician was understood to be feeling “very bad” after he dropped the bombshell he had been trying to divorce his love since she met Meek Mill in 2018.
In further claims, he compared his life to horror movie Get Out and said his wife’s famous family were trying to “lock” him up.
Kim spoke out to ask fans to be kind to her “brilliant yet complicated” husband who was suffering with a bipolar episode.
Kanye took to Twitter to publicly apologise to Kim.
He wrote: “I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.
“I did not cover her like she has covered. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Since then, Kanye has reportedly felt “much more relaxed” and “definitely understands” he hurt his stunning model wife.
A source told PEOPLE : “Kanye seems much more relaxed and chilled out for the past couple of days…
“He definitely understands that he upset Kim… He feels very bad about it. It’s obvious that he still loves Kim.”
Just hours after his apology, Kanye was spotted arriving at Cody Regional health in Wyoming.
The rapper made his arrival at the hospital via the emergency entrance and stayed around ten minutes before leaving, according to TMZ.
