Strictly’s Graziano Di Prima can’t live without fiancée after cancelling wedding

Professional dancer Grazino Di Prima and his love Giada Lini were set to tie the knot in Graziano’s native Sicily, where the pair have been isolating

Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano Di Prima has paid a gushing tribute to his fiancée after being forced to cancel their wedding.

Thanks to the current climate, coronavirus meant that the professional dancer had his big day cancelled.

Graziano was set to walk down the aisle on Friday 3 July 2020, but Covid-19 meant his wedding would have been very different to the one he had originally planned.

The professional dancer and his love Giada Lini were set to tie the knot in Graziano’s native Sicily, where the pair have been isolating.

While they are still planning on getting hitched, their wedding is now on hold until next year.

Despite the unfortunate series of events, the 26-year-old has revealed that he is more in love with his wife-to-be now more than ever.

The pair fell head over heels for one another after first meeting on BBC’s Strictly in 2018.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Graziano revealed that he is looking at the positives of having their big day postponed.

“The fact that we have to wait longer will only make it more special. We’re going to enjoy it even more. It’s going to be a very big party! We would rather wait so we can have all our family celebrate with us,” he explained.

The Italian hunk said he and Giada already act like they are married, so having to wait another year or two to walk down the isle won’t make that much difference to them.

The telly star gushed: “We are already like husband and wife anyway. I cannot live my life without her.

“She doesn’t have the ring yet, but she’s going to very soon.”

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Giada explained that their relationship has not changed due to the fact they had to cancel their wedding.

She insisted: “Nothing is going to change. We’ve shared every experience together so we are already married.

“We lived together for six months in one very small room during the Burn The Floor tour. We work together, eat together, live together and have the same friends so we know everything about each other.”

The couple announced their engagement last year after a night of dancing as they performed in production Burn the Floor.

Graziano popped the question to his then-girlfriend live on stage, with Giada excitedly accepting his proposal.

The pair have been inseparable since they began dating in 2015.
