Gigi Hadid fans freak over pregnant model’s bizarre ‘pasta kitchen’

Gigi Hadid has sent her fans into a frenzy after sharing an inside glimpse at her bizarre pasta kitchen.

The pregnant model is currently preparing to welcome her first child with former One Direction star Zayn Malik.

And the catwalk queen, 25, gave fans a glimpse into her trendy New York apartment – that she has newly renovated – on social media over the weekend.

Gigi took to Instagram to explain that her creative project has taken over a year to complete.

She also shared that her famous mother Yolanda chipped in with her design knowledge to help her daughter style the two-bed pad, which is situated in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood.

The stunning images of her lavish and quirky home prove that cover star Gigi is not afraid of colour.

While the majority of her 55million Instagram followers were left gobsmacked by her stunning New York haven, others felt that some aspects of Gigi’s home were outrageous.

In particular, the model’s pasta-themed kitchen did not sit right with many admirers.

Disbelieving fans claimed that they felt ‘freaked out’ and ‘nauseous’ over the fact that the Victoria’s Secret stunner kept a number of cabinets filled to the brim with dried pasta dyed in various colours.

Arguably, the most attention-grabbing detail is indeed the kitchen cabinetry, made from brightly coloured pasta.

Gigi has packed her drawers with loose penne and bow-tie pasta that have been dyed in striking yellows and indigos.

Behind Gigi’s pasta island, there is another cabinet which is also filled with pasta, neatly organised in glass containers according to shape.

It didn’t take long for confused fans to rush to social media to share their thoughts on the bizarre kitchen addition.

One follower wrote: “Gigi’s pasta kitchen actually makes me feel so nauseous. Why did she feel the need to do that? Someone tell me?”

A second echoed: “Gigi hadid’s inedible dyed pasta cabinet facades ruined my day.”

“Wealthy people love taking food out of packaging and putting it in clear containers,” a third quipped.

While a fourth added: “Oh my god. I am beyond freaked out after seeing those pasta drawers. It’s put me off ever eating it again.”

Elsewhere, the model’s kitchen has a luxury feel with white and gold marble counter tops and it is obvious that the beauty loves to cook as stacks of cooking utensils and recipe books are on display.

Alongside the photos of her home, the expecting star typed: “Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot. Of course it all came together right before quarantining out of the city.

“But I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favorite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy. ++ my mamma:) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) grateful to and for all.”

Gigi announced in April that she was “a few months along” into her pregnancy.

The stunner announced the happy news during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.

She has not revealed whether it is a boy or a girl that she is expecting.
