Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has been plunged into chaos, just days after filming began.
The Channel 4 show, which is being produced as part of the Stand Up For Cancer initiative, sees a number of celebrities taken on gruelling SAS training.
It has already proved too much for some though with three contestants already reportedly quitting the show, just days after arriving for filming.
TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson, 53, has reportedly found the going too tough and has walked away from the series after aggravating a back problem.
She was followed by former I’m A Celebrity Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison, 32, who also struggled with the tasks and threw in the towel.
This followed former X Factor star Jake Quickenden, 32, who was flown from the set in Scotland to London to see a specialist surgeon after suffering a serious injury.
A TV insider told the publication: “SAS is notoriously the hardest show on telly and it pushes the celebs to their limits.
“Ulrika was so keen but not long after it started she had a meltdown and quit.
“She’s had a back issue and it was evident she wasn’t cut out for the tasks.”
The insider continued: “Vicky also handed in the towel not long in.
“On the same day she left, it turned into chaos as Jake pulled up in agony. It’s believed he could have torn a bicep.
“Everyone hopes he’ll return but it depends if he’ll recover in time. It’s not great losing people but it proves how hard it is.”
Other contestants who have signed up to take the challenge on the Channel 4 show include ex-footballer Kieron Dyer, 41, Loose Women’s Saira Khan, 50, rower James Cracknell, 48, and singer Alexandra Burke, 32.
