Kourtney Kardashian Blasted On Social Media For Promoting Kanye West’s Presidential Campaign

Kanye West announced his bid for the presidential seat in the United States government earlier this year, and the news was met with mixed responses. Some celebrities, particularly in the music industry, came out to support the idea of him being in the Oval Office, while others were less impressed.

Interestingly, not even members of the Kar-Jenner clan publicly supported him, even his own wife, Kim Kardashian. As the story goes, Kanye announced his intention to run for the presidency back in July of this year on Independence Day.

The rapper began campaigning and doing everything in his power to get his name on the ballot, including spending his own money to get signatures and more. At the end of his tiring schedule, Hot New Hip Hop says Kanye wound up with his name on the ballot in 12 different states.

With all that said, his campaign has come under fire by some in the Democratic establishment who say he is merely trying to take votes away from the Democratic party to help Trump win. As most know, Kanye came out as a Trump supporter amid the president’s win in 2016.

Kourtney Kardashian is just one member of the family who came out to support Kanye. On the 15th of October, Kourtney posted a photo of a “Vote Kanye” hat which was going for $40. Additionally, she posted a photo of herself wearing the merchandise on her Instagram Story, but a lot of people weren’t happy about it.

For instance, social media users accused her of doing one of the most “reprehensible” and “irresponsible” things one could ever imagine. Others, however, argued that Kourtney was merely supporting her brother-in-law with a sweet gesture.

Either way, it’s clear the move was polarizing, and Kourtney has been coming under fire from angry social media users ever since. Regardless of Kourtney’s support, many people have been unhappy with Kanye, including DL Hughley.

The comedian came out earlier this year to accuse Kanye of being a media manipulator. He claimed whenever the rapper has a new project coming out, it’s time for him to start acting crazy again.
