Kanye West is easily one of the most respected members of the hip-hop community to ever pick up a microphone. However, he found himself sparking the ire of the rest of the black and rap community when he announced he was going to run for the presidency this year.
As most know, this all comes after Kanye also revealed he was a Trump supporter, which made him the target of mockery for months. Additionally, West made a surprising career transition when he announced he was no longer going to make rap music, and instead, planned on making gospel music.
Kanye dropped Jesus Is King, which was actually appreciated by many of the rapper’s fans, although, it did have its detractors. Regardless, West managed to break records when he swung into the genre because no other artist managed to move so many copies of a gospel record.
Fast forward to today, and Kanye is itching to become the president of the United States, and in an attempt to promote his new campaign, Kanye dropped a new song called, “Nah Nah Nah” in which he flexed on the haters.
Kanye raps in his song that his campaign wasn’t a joke, in fact, it was 100% serious. Unfortunately for the legendary rapper, fans hated the song, and it wasn’t as positively received as he may have hoped.

For instance, social media users took to their accounts today to say that they wished Kanye would’ve just stuck to his political aspirations, rather than going back to his roots in the rap community.
Others joked that they spent the majority of the year hoping Kanye would go back to making music like he used to, rather than focus on his presidential campaign, but they wound up regretting those feelings.
Thus far, fans have criticized the song for its bizarre beat, which fans described as sounding a bit goofy or slightly off-key. Anthony Fantano, for instance, who created and hosts the channel, The Needle Drop, said the song was even worse than the leaked Yandhi tapes.
