Kanye West was reported to police for breaching coronavirus lockdown quarantine rules in the UK, a new report has claimed.
The 43-year-old rap star – and 2020 US presidential hopeful – was spotted in London earlier this month, along with his seven-year-old daughter, North West.
The father and daughter were spotted attending the Bottega Veneta fashion show in the UK capital on Friday 9 October amid the ongoing global health crisis.
The pair were also spied in Selfridge’s where they were showing support for Kanye’s wife, and North’s mother, Kim Kardashian at the launch of one of her products – although the reality star was not there herself.
While Kanye was later spotted at other venues in London on the following day, including being snapped by a fan outside the Dorchester Hotel and later leaving a building in Queen’s Park.
The Sun claims concerned Londoners called cops on the megastar after he seemingly failed to adhere to UK lockdown rules of self-quarantining for two weeks upon arrival.
The publication goes on to claim a police statement confirmed authorities had been made “aware” of “a possible breach of quarantine legislation” but that no action was going to be taken.
Mirror Online have contacted representatives of Kanye and the Met Police for comment.
The musician is now believed to be back in the USA – where he should surely have a busy few weeks ahead.
Celebrations are imminent for his wife, Kim, who is set to turn 40 on Tuesday – although she has already been celebrating by erupting from a giant cake and by posing with her G-string on display.
Following the birthday celebrations, Kanye will be nearing the end of his Presidential election bid.
Back on July 4, Kanye stunned fans and the political world when he announced his intention to run for president in the 2020 election.
The campaign has been somewhat chaotic – with a rally in South Carolina on 19 July descending into carnage with the star breaking down in tears while making controversial comments about his family.
