Armie Hammer Files For Joint Custody Of His Children With Elizabeth Chambers

According to multiple reports, Armie Hammer and his estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, may be headed for a custody battle. Page Six reported that Armie and Elizabeth split up earlier this year and the actor recently filed for joint custody of their kids.

This Thursday, the 34-year-old actor requested joint custody of their two children. Page Six got their hands on the court documents from the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Additionally, Page Six noted, the actor wants their kids to come back to Los Angeles, which is not where they have been staying since the pandemic first began. The Blast said that Armie went back to Los Angeles in July of this year, and Elizabeth claimed she would bring the kids when she came back from the Cayman Islands.

However, the court documents go on to say that Elizabeth and the kids have stayed in the Cayman Islands and Armie hasn’t seen his kids in several months. Chambers agreed to fly back to Los Angeles in October, but she never came.

In the court filing, Armie and his attornies claimed he was hoping Elizabeth wasn’t trying to limit his contact with the children. In Chamber’s court filing, she wrote that she wanted her kids to stay in the Cayman Islands where they don’t have to wear masks and can continue playing as they normally do.

As most know, Los Angeles, and the greater state of California, has much stricter regulations regarding the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, James Van Der Beek recently wrote in an Instagram post that there were so many laws and regulations that he and his family decided to move out of the state altogether.

Regarding what Armie has been up to lately in his dating life, Page Six said earlier this year that he was spotted hanging around Courtney Vuceovich. Moreover, the paparazzi saw him with Jessica Ciencin Henriquez as well.

As it was previously reported, Chambers filed for divorce from the actor back in July of this year, and she asked for primary physical custody of their two kids, Harper Grace and Ford Douglas Armand. She asked to retain joint legal custody of their kids.
