Chrissy Teigen breaks silence on losing her baby to give an update on her family
Devastated Chrissy Teigen confided in her 32.8million fans her loving family were “quiet” but she insisted they were “okay”
Heartbroken Chrissy Teigen has spoken out for the first time on her grief.
It’s her first post since she bravely told fans she and her husband John Legend suffered great heartache over their loss of Jack.
The brave mother, 34, gave her fans an update on how her family had been doing in the wake of the tragedy.
In her note, she confided in her 32.8million fans her family were “quiet” but she insisted they were “okay”.
She wrote: “We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all so much.”
Chrissy re-posted her husband John’s loving tribute to his wife which included the heartwarming words: “We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together. Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling…
“I’m in awe of the strength you’ve shown through the most challenging moments. What a gift it is to be able to bring life into the world. We’ve experienced the miracle, the power and joy of this gift, and now we’ve deeply felt its inherent fragility.”
Her message followed a day after the couple were spotted out for the first time since the tragedy.
They were spotted without their young children Luna, four, and Miles, two.
Earlier in the week, the All Of You singer paid tribute to his wife with his performance of Never Break at the 2020 Billboard Music awards.
It comes shortly after Chrissy and John moved their fans with the devastating photographs taken a short time after they had been told they had lost their baby.
The model shared the intimate details of her grief and “deep pain” in her Instagram post.
She previously wrote: “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.
“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.
“We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack.”
She added: “So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”
Already Chrissy’s post has sparked a conversation about miscarriage.
