There Is No Upcoming Collaboration Between Cardi B And Nicki Minaj Sources Reveal

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been at odds with each other ever since they got into a fight at New York Fashion Week which Minaj later described as “mortifying.” Reportedly, it started after Nicki liked a tweet in which someone commented on Cardi’s parenting abilities.

Minaj later came out to say that she never said anything about Cardi B‘s daughter, and it was all just a big misunderstanding. With that in mind, however, things have not been good between them, although, representatives from both of their teams have stated there is no beef anymore.

Since then, rumors have proliferated on the internet in which fans and followers of the two rappers have wondered if they had an upcoming collaboration in the works, Hot New Hip Hop reported today. The idea behind the song was to join both of their talents but also crush their feud at the same time.

However, sources who spoke with The Jasmine Brand this week claimed the “WAP” rapper and Nicki Minaj won’t be dropping a collaborative effort together. Although, the insider noted there wasn’t a beef either, so the rumor was half true.

According to the source who spoke with The Jasmine Brand, “this is false. There’s no beef, but there’s also no song either.” While it’s great to hear two of the biggest female rappers aren’t feuding, it’s a bummer to now they won’t be dropping a track together anytime soon.

With that in mind, both artists are now working on new music albeit as separate entities. For instance, Cardi B is working on her second major-label effort and Nicki Minaj just appeared on a new remix, “Whole Lotta Choppas.”

Earlier this year, Nicki was in the headlines after it was revealed she was dropping a song with Tekashi 6ix9ine. Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine released a song together called “TROLLZ,” which went to the top of the charts but quickly fell off.

Cardi B, on the other hand, dropped one of the most successful singles of the year with Megan Thee Stallion, “WAP.”
