Piers Morgan has revealed that he will stay on Good Morning Britain until 2021, but after that, he is unsure about the fate of his journey as host.

The outspoken star, 55, has signed a deal to stay on with the ITV morning show until the end of next year.

Despite this, he said “who the hell knows” where he will be after that.

Piers suggested that after his departure from GMB, he may make the move to radio presenting rather than TV.

Lifting the lid on his future plans, the telly favourite told Virgin Radio’s Chris Evans that the idea of radio presenting is one that has always excited him.

Piers explained: “I’m definitely there till the end of next year.

“I’ve got a contract till the end of 2021.

“But who the hell knows in this environment what’s going to happen after that.”

Addressing his possible radio stint, Piers added: “It’s a different discipline.

“Apart from anything else, I have a stupendous ego and so obviously I like being recognised and all the trimmings that come with it.

“Radio is a real art form, I think, and those that I’ve really loved who do it well – and no smoke you are one of the best – it’s a real art form and you’ve got to be ready to do that and commit to it.”

Piers’ latest revelation comes after he explained how he ended his lengthy feud with Donald Trump.

The star broke the ice by cracking a Meghan Markle joke with the current president of the United States.

Trump sensationally unfollowed Piers on Twitter in April after the journalist told his friend of 15 years to “shut the f**k up” in a column he wrote.

The duo have been friends ever since Piers was a contestant on Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice back in 2008, and just like Trump, Piers has been very open about his dislike of Meghan.

The GMB host now says that he’s still chatting to Trump regularly despite the quarrel.
