Melania Trump Reveals Son Barron Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Well In White House Website Essay

In a personal essay shared on the White House website, FLOTUS Melania Trump announced that earlier this month, her and Donald Trump’s son, Barron, also tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The mother revealed her reaction to the bad news as well as details about the terrible experience and more!

In the meantime, it appears that the 14 year old, as well as the POTUS and Melania, have tested negative after going through the symptoms and healing.

While Donald Trump has been sharing his own experience with the virus with his supporters ever since, he’s been saying nothing about his wife and child.

Instead, Melania Trump shared more details about that, including the fact that Barron showed no symptoms.

She wrote that ‘It was 2 weeks ago when I got the diagnosis so many Americans across the country and the world had already received—I tested positive for COVID-19. To make matters worse, my husband received the same news. Naturally, my mind went to our son. To our great relief he tested negative, but again, as so many parents have thought over the past months, I could not help but think ‘what about tomorrow or the next day?’’

Sure enough, ‘My fear came true when he was tested again and it came up positive. Luckily he’s a strong teenager and exhibited no symptoms. In one way I was glad the 3 of us went through this all at the same time so we could take care of one another and spend some time together. He’s since tested negative.’

Melania confirmed that she tested negative as well and that she is looking forward to resuming all her duties as soon as possible.

She went on to reveal her symptoms, saying that she did not need serious medical help as her husband did.

Instead, the First Lady felt body aches, coughing, headaches, and extreme tiredness all at once but it was still not too serious so she opted for vitamins and healthy food to help her recover.
