Cynthia Bailey could not have been any happier to tie the knot with her man in a rather lavish wedding. Regardless, she and Mike Hill made sure to take all the measures necessary to protect themselves and all the attendees from getting COVID-19, even creating personalized masks with the bride and groom’s names for the event.
But as far as Wendy Williams is concerned, the RHOA star was still ‘selfish’ to tie the knot in a big wedding amid a global pandemic.
That being said, the talk show host did not hold anything back when she slammed Cynthia for her decision.
Wendy Williams called Cynthia Bailey out for organizing her wedding with no concern for social distancing despite the dangerous virus that’s taken over the world, the United States being its epicenter.
The wedding was attended by hundreds and Wendy Williams was not distracted from that fact by the stunning pics and videos shared.
‘Congratulations to selfish Cynthia and her husband Mike Hill… Some guests wore no masks at all, and all I can feel is coughing. Everybody looks beautiful and the place looks nice, but there was no social distancing and I’m frightened for all of them,’ Wendy stated.
She went on to mention that while Cynthia and Mike ‘make a good couple,’ their wedding was a ‘pompous’ event that came at the wrong time seeing how there is a pandemic everyone is dealing with.
Furthermore, she even went as far as to predict that the newlyweds’ marriage won’t last!
‘Cameras will ruin a marriage, and I feel like this marriage will last at the most, only three years because they have Bravo involved and something will come up.’
At the same time, however, one source shared with HollywoodLife that Kenya Moore, who was one of the bridesmaids, was on ‘mask patrol’ the whole time.
The unnamed guest told the news outlet that ‘If she saw you without a mask and you weren’t eating or drinking, she had no issue coming up to you and telling you to put it on. Eva was crying so hard throughout the ceremony.’
