Piers Morgan made a very flirty jobe about Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden on Monday.
The controversial TV host was joined by co-star Susanna Reid on Monday morning’s segment of Good Morning Britain when they discussed the weekend’s finale of the talent show.
He admitted he was rather “disappointed” that Amanda, 49, didn’t wear a “more revealing outfit” on Saturday night’s final show, where John Courtenay was crowned the winner.
The presenter, 55, explained how he got his hopes up, but was let down by the Heart Breakfast host’s outfit.
They discussed her outfit choice after she was unable to make an appearance on the daytime talk show last minute.
He told viewers: “We needed more than a few minutes with her.”
Susanna quipped she was unable to take part in the show as she was “wearing too many clothes”, before adding: “So, we’ve asked her to come on later in the week.”
Meanwhile, Piers explained: “I wanted to ask her why she didn’t wear a more revealing dress to the final of Britain’s Got Talent, I was personally very disappointed.”
Amanda looked incredible at the BGT final, where she stepped out in a semi-sheer embellished number which draped over one shoulder.
The gorgeous rose gold ensemble featured a sexy thigh slit which showed off Amanda’s endless legs.
Piers and Susanna joked they’d be complaining to Ofcom that she was wearing too much clothing.
“I’m going to make a complaint to Ofcom that Amanda was wearing too many clothes, she was all covered up,” Piers laughed.
It comes after the singer and actress was hit with hundred of complaints in recent weeks as viewers were offended by her outfit choices on the show.
Amanda’s outfit from two weeks ago was a plunging navy gown with a daring built in underwire on the bust which sparked 235 Ofcom complaints, as viewers questioned whether she had suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
She was also hit with further complaints the following week after opting for a burgundy velvet gown which showcased her figure, with a thigh split and low-cut front.
But Amanda laughed it off to MailOnline, saying: “I can see what people think, it had a like an underwire, you know when you have an underwire bikini or bra, the end of it it’s like an upside down U isn’t it.
“The end of it dug in. I was more insulted that people thought I had either huge saucepan nipples or nipples over my cleavage.”
The talent show has attracted a whopping 28,000 Ofcom complaints from the 2020 series, with Diversity’s Black Lives Matter performance racking up most of that number.
