Stacey Giggs is living in fear of the Strictly curse and doesn’t want boyfriend Max George to be partnered with a sexy single, it is claimed.

Her marriage to football star Ryan crumbled after claims he cheated with his brother’s wife Natasha.

The 41-year-old has taken a cautious approach when it comes to men ever since her life was shattered by the 2011 revalations.

Now, according to The Sun, Stacey is concerned about what’s around the corner with Max’s Strictly stint because of the show’s infamous track record.

The mum is said to be hoping Max, 32, is not teamed up with with a single beauty on the show.

A source told the publication: “Stacey made it crystal clear she wanted to know who Max would be partnered with from the start.

“It became well known early on that she was incredibly nervous about who he would be paired with.

“Stacey said she wanted someone with a good reputation and said the curse had played on her mind. Of course, the bosses wouldn’t tell Stacey or Max who he would be paired with.

“They have an idea of what might work but nothing is decided until the chemistry sessions and they wouldn’t make a special dispensation for anyone.”

Mirror Online has contacted Max’s reps for comment.

Stacey and Max have been dating since the start of 2019.

The couple met in their local pub and became serious very fast despite their ten-year age gap.

Earlier this year they went searching for their dream home with a budget of £1.5million.

Max, who used to date Corrie star Michelle Keegan, is said to get along very well with Stacey and Ryan’s two children, Liberty, 17, and Zachary, 13.

But the source added: “Strictly is a hotbed of romance because of how closely the stars work with the dancers and, naturally, romances do develop.

“It’s anyone’s worst nightmare so it’s understandable Stacey feels nervous about Max.
