Victoria Beckham ‘urges Meghan Markle to shut down critics’ by showing ‘real her’

Victoria Beckham is encouraging Meghan Markle to show more of her and Prince Harry’s private life, reports say.
Victoria and close pal Meghan regularly exchange advice and life wisdom, sources say, with the former urging the latter to shed more light on her day-to-day life.
Insiders say this is because “Victoria has always benefited from showing the public the ‘real’ her.”
They added that this is because Victoria’s been able to display her dry sense of humour and geniality, like in 2007’s Coming To America, and Victoria’s Secrets and Being Victoria Beckham back in 2000.
Meghan and Harry, who tied the knot in 2017, announced early on this year their intention to step back from their roles as senior royals.
The move, while defended by some, has drawn heavy criticism from others, including from high-profile figures such as Piers Morgan.
They’ve since moved to California, and been surrounded by a flurry of speculation about their next career move.
The couple recently shut down rumours that they’d struck a deal with streaming giant Netflix.
Now insiders have told Closer that Victoria wants Meghan to show the public her down-to-earth nature.
“She’s urged Meghan to shut down the critics,” they told, “and prove her authenticity by showing the side only her loved ones get to see and to reveal the real her.
“She’s also told people it could make people think twice about attacking her and tug on their heartstrings by showing the public how deeply the backlash affects her and Harry on an emotional level.”
They added: “Vic and David know how different it is to move to a new country and all the uncertainties and anxieties that Harry will no doubt be facing, so that’s something they’ve bonded over too.”
Posh and David were guests at Meghan and Harry’s Windsor wedding, and it’s rumoured that they’re looking to repay the favour with eldest lad Brooklyn’s upcoming nuptials.
Victoria and David are over the moon after Brooklyn, 21, popped the question to 25-year-old actress girlfriend Nicola Peltz.
Since then, Nicola’s grown even closer to her future in-laws, and struck up a solid relationship with Brooklyn’s eight-year-old sister Harper.
And it’s rumoured that when the big day comes around, Meghan and Harry, as well as Sir Elton John, will be on the star-studded guest list.
