Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘cringe at anything tacky’ but are open to reality TV

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly open to doing a reality TV show if the idea was tasteful enough and the price was right, sources say

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly open to the idea of doing a reality TV show in the future.

The couple denied reports that they will have their own fly on the wall documentary as part of their huge £112million Netflix deal, but it’s now claimed they haven’t ruled it out in the future if a reality show is under their terms.

According to heat magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t want to do anything that could be considered “tacky”.

But there’s a chance they could do reality TV if the idea was tasteful enough and the price was right, it’s reported.

A source told the publication: “They cringe at the idea of anything that could be even vaguely deemed as tacky. So, as of this moment, their rep is correct to state that they won’t be starring in a reality show.

“But things could change if the right offer comes in that ticks boxes in terms of tastefulness, suitability and, of course, financial reward.”

The couple are now said to be keeping their cards close to their chest about what work they’ve got lined up.

Despite this, they’re still keen to have their say on their exit from the Royal Family.

The source added: “They also hate the fact that they’re being called liars and hypocrites – they feel that couldn’t be further from the truth. They are doing what’s right for them and still want to get their side of the story across.”

It comes after Meghan and Harry denied that they’d be doing a reality TV show.

Their reps said in a statement: “The Duke and Duchess are not taking part in any reality shows.”

Netflix hasn’t given many details about what sort of projects will be released as part of their mega bucks deal.

They said in a statement: “The couple already has several projects in development, including an innovative nature docu-series and an animated series that celebrates inspiring women but we are not disclosing any of the programming slate at this time.”
