Rochelle Humes has announced she’s planning to isolate until she gives birth.

The Saturdays singer and TV presenter is expecting her third child – her first boy – with husband Marvin Humes.

Welcoming a baby in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic can’t be easy for anyone, and Rochelle has admitted she’s feeling a little overwhelmed by it all.

The 31-year-old, who is already mum to Alaia-Mai, seven, and Valentina, three, shared a beautiful mirror selfie that showed her blossoming bump.

As she entered the 38th week of her pregnancy, Rochelle made the decision to stay home until her baby is born.

She penned: “Me for the foreseeable…I am isolating until our little man shows up. I have one more doctors appointment and apart from that I’ll be right here at home.

“I’m all a bit freaked out about Covid again at this point of pregnancy so I’m staying put….anyone else feeling the same? Side note, I get this dark line down my tummy every pregnancy…anyone know what it is? #38weekspregnant”

Fellow singer Paloma Faith said she was doing the same thing.

She commented: “I’m the same I’m pregnant and already said NO WORK 3rd trimester as I’m crazy with worry!”

She added: “Congratulations by the way you are beautiful”

Answering Rochelle’s question about the line down her tummy, Dr Zoe Williams told her: “Hi beauty. The line is called ‘linea nigra – completely normal and very common in pregnancy – especially in those with dark skin. Sending love. Sounds like nesting kicking in. Time for you to just look after you and little one and prepare for the joy that is to come. Sending love to you all “

This Morning’s Dr Ranj also got involved.
