Scarlett Moffatt is devastated after a change in the lockdown rules has forced her to cancel her 30th birthday plans.
The former Gogglebox star is due to celebrate the milestone next month, but has sadly had to pull the plug on everything she’d organised.
The I’m A Celebrity winner is gutted after the government announced meetings of more than six people – both indoor and outdoor – will be banned from Monday in the ongoing battle against coronavirus.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Scarlett joked she was staying 29 for another year.
But she also opened up about how she was struggling to cope with the world in its current state.
She wrote: “My anxiety is so bad now because of this news. Anyone else feel like living in another country for a year
“So they told us to go out and do help out to eat out
“Now they’re saying we have to stay in!! What is happening man!!”
Sharing a picture of Prime Minister Boris Johnson talking live from Downing Street on her TV, she added: “30th birthday plans ruined
“Wish corona virus would F**K OFF NOW”
Scarlett went on: “I know I like to spread positivity but I can’t lie to you all, I’ve never felt so crap in my life
“Boris announcement has seriously knocked me
“Hope you’re all ok
“And to those who are feeling like me and are struggling don’t feel ashamed about it
“What’s happening is strange and crap, it’s a natural reaction
“Also side note – the fact all my 30th birthday plans have been cancelled means I can stay 29 for another year?”
Johnson has warned that anyone caught flouting the rules in social gatherings of more than six people risk being arrested.
People can be handed £100 fines if they’re found breaking the rules put in place to protect people and stop the spread of COVID-19.
