Rebekah Vardy ‘disappointed’ by Wagatha Christie verdict
A two-and-a-half-year feud came to an end after Mrs Justice Steyn ruled in Coleen’s favour in High Court last week.
In 2019, Coleen accused Rebekah of leaking stories to the press, an accusation she vehemently denied.
Rebekah then sued Coleen for defamation in a trial that lasted seven days in May.
However, the two WAGs – who wish no ‘ill will’ towards each other – still haven’t talked.
Sitting down with Kate McCann for a tell-all interview about the explosive Wagatha Christie case on TalkTV, she revealed: “I haven’t spoken to her.”
Rebekah last contacted her in November
“I made an attempt to contact her in November of last year in a private message and she didn’t respond to it. She just gave that straight to the lawyers.”
When asked what she wrote in the message, she recalled: “I just basically said, ‘I didn’t do it, we can still sort this out. We could have sorted it then and we still can’.”
The 40-year-old was also asked if there was any blame in it that she should accept, to which she said: “No because I didn’t do anything wrong.”
The fallout started in 2019 when Coleen, 36, revealed she carried out a ‘sting operation’ and accused Rebekah’s account of leaking ‘false stories’ about her private life to the press.
Coleen’s fake stories featured her travelling to Mexico for a ‘gender selection’ procedure, her planning to return to TV, and the basement flooding at her home.

Rebekah has always vehemently denied Coleen’s accusations and launched libel proceedings in 2020.
Responding to the recent verdict, Coleen had said she was pleased with the judgement and bears no ill will to Rebekah, adding: “It was not a case I ever sought or wanted.”
Turning to her viral Instagram post which sparked the saga, Coleen said: “Today’s judgment makes clear that I was right in what I said in my posts of October 2019.”
In her own statement, Rebekah said she was ‘ extremely sad and disappointed ‘ by the decision, and she did not accept it nor believe it “was just”.
