Peter Andre has said that he’s “punching” in his relationship with wife Emily after a fan gave their brutal verdict.
Tonight saw the return of Life with the Andres for a second series after the roaring success of the first.
And following the fresh episode, Pete and Emily took to Instagram Live to chat with fans and answer any burning questions they might have.
One fan decided not to ask a question, but instead gave their savage verdict on Pete and Emily’s marriage.
They claimed pop star heartthrob Pete was “punching” up with Emily, meaning they think she’s more attractive than he is.
Ever the good sport, Pete shrugged and agreed with them.
Another fan did the same, dad-of-four Pete laughing: “Yeah, I’m punching, I know!”
Emily had lost her voice during the Instagram Live, apologising as she nipped upstairs to tuck in kids Milly, six, and Theo, three.
Pete also has Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price.
During the new episode, Pete proved his great dad credentials as he urged Princess to have more confidence with her singing.
While he sat at the computer and provided a backing track, Princess stepped into the makeshift booth and belted out a few lines.
“My kids love singing,” he told.
“Not gonna force in on them…when they’re ready, they can do it.”
Princess gave a few lines before telling her dad: “This song’s really weird, the backing track.”
“But just listen to yourself,” Pete protested, playing it back to her, “You’ll see what I mean.
“Do you know what I mean? You’ve got a beautiful voice.
“You’ve just gotta have the confidence.”
Proud dad Pete recently vowed to keep spending time with his kids, having been with them 24/7 during lockdown.
Emily is an NHS doctor, fighting coronavirus on the front line, which meant Pete was pretty much on full time parenting duty.
In a new campaign for Quorn, Pete reflected with Junior and Princess of what they’ve learned from the past months.
“During the last few months, I’m sure we’re not the only family who have made changes to our everyday lives,” he said.
“As well as creating a lifetime of special memories, we’ve also adopted new habits and new routines.
