Former TOWIE legend Mark Wright fears he was watched by thieves who stole his £65,000 Range Rover from his driveway.
The reality star, 33, took to his Twitter on Monday evening and pleaded fans for their help after the shocking incident took place while he was home.
The lavish motor was taken from outside his Essex farmhouse, where he lives with his wife Michelle Keegan.
A source says the couple are now worried that they were being spied on by the criminals in the run-up to the theft.
“Mark and Michelle fear that they were targeted and the thieves drove past their house several times over a few days before spotting the gates were left open,” they told The Sun.
“It would be too much of a coincidence that it was a random robbery – someone had to be keeping an eye out for the gates to be left open.”
Thankfully, the car was found a 20 minute drive away from his lavish home.
He later thanked local police and fans who supported him during the tense moment.
“Car has now been found 20mins away. Thank you to @MetaTrakUK@metpoliceuk@EssexPoliceUK for your incredible work. Thank you to all the people who tweeted and showed support. X,” Mark penned on Twitter after the car had been found.
Earlier that day, Mark reached out to his 2.7million followers urgently calling for their help.
“If Anyone sees a black Range Rover sport in the Chigwell area heading away from Abridge please tweet me,” Mark wrote on Monday.
He added: “Just this second stolen off my drive whilst we are home. Unbelievable.”
Fans flocked to share their support as well as tips for Mark to keep his vehicle safe in the future.
Less than an hour later, Mark revealed that the car had been found.
A spokesperson for Essex Police also added: “We were called to reports a car had been stolen in Abridge at around 4.10pm on Monday 7 December. The vehicle was recovered in Ilford a short time later.”
Mirror Online has contacted Mark and Michelle’s representatives for comment.
