Katie’s Price’s tragic history with pets after series of fatal accidents

Animal lover Katie is in mourning once again after losing the latest pet to join her family

Katie Price is said to be ‘devastated and heartbroken’ over the latest loss in her collection of pets.

The puppy she bought for daughter Princess’ 13th birthday has died just a few weeks after they took him home.

Adorable Rolo had joined Katie’s only other dog Blade at her new home after the mum significantly downsized her fur family.

While at her infamous Surrey mansion, Katie’s home had been filled with every kind of pet from dogs, cats, horses, lizards, guinea pigs and even a hedgehog.

But in the last few years, animal lover Katie has experienced some gut-wrenching losses, with poor Rolo being the latest tragedy.

A source told The Sun the pooch had been found by Harvey’s carer after a ‘tragic accident.’

“It was a tragic accident nobody could have foreseen – it’s no-one’s fault but Katie can’t stop crying,” they revealed.

The sad loss comes just five months after Katie’s Alsation Sparkle was killed by a car.

Tragedy struck after Sparkle escaped from Katie’s home and was mown down on a busy road nearby.

Sparkle was said to have been hit by a car on the A24, which runs nearby her West Sussex ‘mucky mansion’.

The busy dual carriageway has appeared troublesome for the former glamour model as one of her old dogs, Bear, ran onto the same road in February last year in a horrifying scare.

That pooch nearly succumbed to a terrible fate but was returned unharmed to the property by the police.

The year before, Katie and her kids were left heartbroken once again when their dog Queenie was killed by a ‘heartless delivery driver’.

Katie claimed that security cameras outside her house capture footage of the incident and that the driver had hit Queenie before driving off without telling them of its distress.

Katie told her Instagram followers the news and wrote: “Very disappointed a human being can be this heartless! Security cameras show this and we have reported to police!

“DEVASTATED is a understatement.”

Then in 2018, Katie’s son Junior lost his pet chameleon Marvin.

When Princess and Junior moved in with their dad Pete they decided to leave the reptile at their mum’s house and Katie believed Marvin died of a ‘broken heart.’

Katie suffered another blow in 2017 when one of her beloved horses was killed by a car.

In pictures posted by someone who witnessed the crash, a black car had its windscreen completely smashed in and Katie said one of her own horses and also four horses owned by a friend escaped from their field and ran into the road.

One horse was killed and two others had to have their injuries treated by a vet. Luckily, the driver escaped with no injuries.

The keen equestrian wrote: “Last night our friends horses including one of ours escaped from their field and ran onto the road we are devastated.
