Despite her piercings, filler injections and countless tattoos, Katie Price actually can’t stand needles.
The former glamour model, 42, virtually took fans around with her on her day off, which included her having to get a vitamin B12 shot.
In her latest YouTube video, Katie said the shot is perfect for those who want to boost their energy.
She admitted that the last few days with Harvey being holed up in hospital have made her more or less “drained”.
Telling fans what the jab was for, she explained: “I’m so knackered that someone recommended me to have some kind of vitamin injection – I think it’s a B12 or something.”
She added: “There’s just one problem…if you know me well enough, you know what the problem is. I hate needles.”
Katie went on to chat to the lady who would do her jab, asking her what the benefits of the shot are.
Beautician Tony explained: “So we’re going to do a B Complex which has got all B vitamins. These vitamins can give a great energy boost and they can make you feel really good.”
But after seeing the size of the injection, Katie’s reaction was a dramatic one.
The mum-of-five began to hyperventilate after seeing the needle, gasping: “Woah. What the hell? Jesus Christ! What, that all has to go in? What, all of that?
“That’s huge! That can’t be normal. Oh my god that hurts. Oh Jesus Christ what are you doing? Oh that hurts you’ve got to take it out.”
Katie began to breathe heavily. And in true Pricey fashion, her reaction was nothing short of dramatic.
Earlier on in the video, Katie told fans that she’s not allowed to be with Harvey at all times while he’s at hospital.
She said: “Harvey’s been in hospital for the past five days and I can’t visit him the whole time because you’re not allowed and because of COVID.”
Katie explained she’s been “doing stuff she needs to do” between visits.
She said: “When he was at Great Ormond Street I was allowed to be in the room with him the whole time, now he’s 18 and he’s got rushed to Epsom Hospital, he’s in a ward – not in a ward, in intensive care – you’re hardly allowed anyone there and because of COVID it’s not that easy.
“You only get certain visiting hours and obviously I’m there when I can because of it, but in between, what am I gonna to do? Just sit at home and wait for the clock to go so I see Harvey?
“No. I need to stimulate myself as well. So to make me feel good and things that I do for myself is ride, walk my dog, go on a sunbed, I even got my hair done last night and got my nails done.”
