Katie Price is planning a big surprise for her son Harvey now that he’s on the road to recovery.
Katie was left fearing the worst when her 18-year-old son was rushed into hospital intensive care after struggling to breathe.
It was thought he was at risk of organ failure and the family were left frantically worrying.
Thankfully, Harvey, who has a number of conditions including Prader-Willi Syndrome, is well on his way to recovery.
After spending almost a week in hospital, Katie has big plans for a family holiday as soon as her eldest boy is able to go.
The 42-year-old told The Sun : “I’m happy because now he’s on the road to recovery. So hopefully he will make the holiday.”
The mum-of-five added: “I’m all pleased, I feel good today.
“I’ve gone and rode my horse, chilled out, had a sun bed, seen Harvey, I’m happy it’s good news.”
Yesterday, Katie opened up to her fans about why Harvey wasn’t yet allowed to leave hospital despite being moved out of intensive care on Friday.
She said in a YouTube video: “So at the beginning of the week I was unsure of what was happening with Harvey. But he’s still not coming out of hospital.
“They’ve discovered things about him, but I’m not ready to reveal what they are. But they have discovered things, which is why he’s still in hospital.”
Katie has been keeping fans in the loop throughout Harvey’s latest health battle.
She recently shared an adorable video of her daughter Bunny, five, singing Five Little Speckled Frogs for her big brother as she visited him in hospital.
Harvey loves frog and listened intently to his sister’s sweet performance.
“Too cute,” Katie captioned the clip.
Bunny’s dad Kieran Hayler commented: “Awww buns”.
Kieran’s other child with Katie, six-year-old Jett, also made an appearance in the video, leaping like a frog in the background, while Harvey joined in making ribbit noises.
Harvey was in great spirits as Bunny sat next to him on his bed, showing him how she can make bubbles with her chewing gum.
