Katie Price is set for a follow-up bankruptcy hearing today, just days after her son Harvey was admitted to intensive care.

The former glamour model, 42, was declared bankrupt in November last year.

This morning, she’s listed to appear before the Insolvency and Companies Court in London.

Mirror Online understands the mum-of-five will not be present at the hearing.

Known as a public examination hearing, the routine event will see an accountant hand over Katie’s up-to-date accounts.

It’s a routine follow-up for anyone who has been declared bankrupt.

Another standard hearing will be held towards the end of the year, which will determine whether or not Katie will be cleared of bankruptcy or if the status will remain.

A representative for Katie told us: “This is not a new bankruptcy, it is about the same order and is standard procedure.”

In November, Katie was declared bankrupt after failing to pay back thousand of pounds in debt.

She was once worth £45million but frittered away all her cash on extensive plastic surgery, wild spending sprees and managing her mucky mansion, leaving her without the funds to pay the taxman.

Katie had submitted a payment plan in the form of an Individual Voluntary Agreement late last year to manage repayments of an estimated £250,000 of debt.

She was unable to meet the demands and couldn’t pay back the amount in time.

The hearing comes just days after her son Harvey was taken into intensive care.

He was rushed to hospital after struggling to breathe and Katie was left fearing the worst.

Thankfully, the 18-year-old is now on the road to recovery and has been moved from intensive care onto a normal ward.

Katie has expressed her agony at not being able to stay by her son’s bedside due to visiting restrictions and the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking in a new YouTube video, Katie said: “Harvey’s been in hospital for the past five days and I can’t visit him the whole time because you’re not allowed and because of COVID.”

Katie explained she’s been “doing stuff she needs to do” between visits.

She said: “A lot of people are saying ‘You should be with Harvey, you should be with Harvey’, well yeah I should be, but I’m not allowed, it’s as simple as that.

“When he was at Great Ormond Street I was allowed to be in the room with him the whole time, now he’s 18 and he’s got rushed to Epsom Hospital, he’s in a ward – not in a ward, in intensive care – you’re hardly allowed anyone there and because of COVID it’s not that easy.

“You only get certain visiting hours and obviously I’m there when I can because of it, but in between, what am I gonna to do? Just sit at home and wait for the clock to go so I see Harvey?

“No. I need to stimulate myself as well. So to make me feel good and things that I do for myself is ride, walk my dog, go on a sunbed, I even got my hair done last night and got my nails done.”

She added: “At the beginning of the week I wasn’t sure what was happening with Harvey, but he’s still not coming out of hospital.

“They’ve discovered things about him, and I’m not ready to reveal what they are, but they have discovered things which is why he’s still in hospital.

“That’s all I can say, but he has turned a corner, he’s now talking, he’s absolutely fine but they’re doing what they need to do with him.
