Kate Silverton has slipped back into her wedding dress to recreate pictures from her big day as she celebrates her 10th anniversary with her husband Mike Heron.
The couple, who tied the knot on December 18, 2010, got back into their finery and returned to their wedding venue for a stunning new photoshoot.
Posing for pictures in front of St Paul’s Cathedral in London, they recreated the snaps taken on their wedding day 10 years ago.
Kate, 50, who lost around 2.5 stone during lockdown, wore the same Pronovias silk dress she stepped out in on her wedding day while Mike wore the same morning suit.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, Kate admitted she was thrilled to wear the stunning gown once more.
She said: “Being back in my wedding dress is heaven, I love it.
“It made me feel like a princess then, and to be able to wear it again when I’ve had two children has really made me smile.”
Kate, who calls Mike her “soul mate”, is mum to two kids, Clemency, nine, and Wilbur, six.
The couple met 15 years ago when Kate attended a course hosted by the safety and security expert.
They tied the knot at St Bride’s Church in London’s Fleet Street and their wedding pictures were taken down the street outside St Paul’s.
In the interview, Kate also spoke out about her weight loss this year, admitting: “I was either going to put on two and a half stone during lockdown or lose it, and I’ve lost it.”
The former Strictly star revealed she bought herself a bike, work-out DVDs and started working with a nutritionist to shed the pounds.
