Elvis’ grandson Ben Keough’s girlfriend says she ‘knows meaning of grief’ after suicide
The grandson of icon Elvis Presley was pronounced dead at his $1.8million California mansion after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound
Benjamin Keough’s girlfriend has opened up about the sheer grief she is living with following his tragic suicide earlier this month.
The grandson of icon Elvis Presley was pronounced dead at his $1.8million California mansion after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Heartbroken Diana Pinto said she “knows the true meaning of grief” as she mourns his death.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Diana shared some never-before seen snaps of the pair accompanied by a lengthy caption.
She penned: “To the most beautiful boy I have ever seen. You make everyone around you light up the second you step into the room. You touch every single soul around you.”
She continued: “You love your Sunday morning toons and chocolate milk. I promise to always honor you on Fancy Fridays. Your laugh is heard all over the world now.
“You made me the luckiest girl in the world, to have you, to hold you, to love you and to be loved by you are the only things that have ever mattered.
“You are my whole world and my whole life, you live with me now every day in my heart, in my soul and in my mind. My travel partner. My best friend.”
“I will cherish all the memories we’ve made together and keep them close to my heart. I feel your silliness within me still making me laugh.
“Every second of every day I think of you, now I know the true meaning of grief. Please give me strength to keep going because I don’t know how I’m supposed to do this life without you.”
She ended the caption with: “You will always be the love of my life, my everything. Big pies little pies, te amo mas que el sol y la luna mi amorsito.”
Ben’s body was found by his girlfriend of two years Diana, at the family home in the suburb of Calabasas on July 12.
An autopsy found he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The tragic loss of the son of Lisa Marie and Danny Keough has left his mother “heartbroken.”
In a statement, Lisa Marie’s manager, Roger Widynowsk, declared her boy “the love of her life”.
“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley,” it read.
“She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”
Benjamin kept himself mainly out of the spotlight for much of his life but he did sign a $5million record deal when he was a teen.
He made the deal in 2009 but it seems that he never quite made the big time with his music career and his output remains relatively unknown.
What Ben was most known for is bearing an uncanny resemblance to his famous grandfather, who was known as The King.
