Television presenter Ant McPartlin has been spotted at the airport for a summer holiday after quitting social media.
The duo tweeted: “We’re both taking a break for a few weeks to spend time with family and friends.
“Wishing everyone a great month and we’ll see you at the end of August!”
Now Ant has been seen accompanied by his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett, 44, and her two teenage daughters as they arrived with suitcases at London Heathrow Airport.
The group of four were seen wearing masks to protect themselves and others amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Ant was seen pushing a trolley of bags while wearing a simple black t-shirt with black jeans and a black mask.
Meanwhile, Anne-Marie wore a black blazer with white cuffs and a black-and-white polka dot dress.
The group will be setting off for a much-needed break as the UK deals with ever-changeable regulations surrounding the national lockdown procedures due to Covid-19.
Ant and Dec are due to return later this year for the live shows of variety talent show Britain’s Got Talent, along with the 20th series of hit reality survival series I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!
The social media blackout makes sense for August as the pair will have more free time before one of their busiest periods.
However, despite their announced breaks from social media, an ever-gracious Dec swiftly broke the ban when he took to Twitter to thank fans for their best wishes over his five-year-anniversary with wife, Ali Astall.
Dec tweeted: “PS. Thanks for all the anniversary wishes for me and Mrs D. 5 years today. [Blowing kiss emoji, heart emoji]”.
Dec shares a one-year-old daughter, Isla Elizabeth Anne, with his wife.
Ant was previously married to make-up artist Lisa Armstrong from 2006 to 2018 before he entered into a relationship with former personal assistant Anne-Marie.
