X Factor star Honey G has lifted the lid on her incredible weight loss.

The star, who made headlines with her rapping during 2016's X Factor, has embarked on a six-month health journey that's seen her take up gruelling triathlons and calming yoga.

And Honey - real name Anna Gilford - has shed nearly two stone, and dropped from a "size 16 to 18 to a size 12."

She's also found new reserves of confidence amid her health kick and is more willing to "put [herself] out there."

She told The Daily Star Online : "I've always had a bit of a complex about my weight and now I can shop in the likes of Topshop and Miss Selfridge.

"I used to be Size 16 to 18 but I recently bought a pair of size 12 trousers which feels so good."

Honey added that it's making her reassess her attitude to the dating scene.

She continued: "The weight loss is making me feel better about myself and it's nice to wear something more revealing and sexy and know I can strut my thing.

"I have been dating during lockdown but I've not quite found what I'm looking for at the moment."

And on the woman she's looking for, Honey wants someone "attractive, intelligent and sporty" so that whoever the lucky lady is can share in her fitness joy.

Honey's Instagram offerings are largely fitness-based these days, showing off her impressive training regimes.

She recently completed a 10K run in aid of the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

And in a bit of lockdown goodwill, she raised money for NHS Charities together with a staggering 33K run.

Early in September, she tackled her first triathlon which saw her swim 750m, cycle 20km and run 5km.

And she's even embarked on two aquathons, and seen him swimming improve massively.

"It was an amazing experience," she told.

"We're just waiting for the times to be uploaded but I definitely know that that was a PB, I was a lot faster than last time, I've been having some swimming coaching lessons.
