Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech have confirmed they are divorcing just days after announcing their pregnancy news.
The Chicago White Sox pitcher, 24, filed for divorce on June 19 after just five months of marriage.
He filed in Morris County in northeast Texas, where he grew up, but a hearing date hasn't been scheduled yet, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The news broke just three days after Vanessa, 28, announced on Instagram that she is expecting her first child, a baby boy.
A representative for Morgan confirmed that Kopech is the father of Morgan's baby but declined to comment on the divorce filing, the site said.
The former couple's baby is due in January.
Vanessa, who plays Toni Topaz in Riverdale, shared a video of herself and several photos from her gender reveal party.
Kopech did not appear in any of the images.
She captioned the post: "Exciting news... I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January.
"This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!!"
Vanessa didn't mention the split in her post but said her baby boy was "made with so much love".
She continued: "Lil one you were made with so much love & already exude a light so strong it warms my belly. Thank you God for this blessing.
"I'm just so happy & can't wait to dedicate everyday to being the best mommy I can be."
The former couple tied the knot in Florida back in January in an intimate ceremony with just 40 guests.
Vanessa found out she was pregnant in May.
She last posted a photo with Kopech on Instagram on April 30 for his birthday.
