A clip has gone viral on Twitter which shows two twins react as they hear Phil Collins ' classic tune In The Air Tonight for the first time.

The snippet is from a YouTube video uploaded by duo TwinsthenewTrend aka Fred and Tim Williams, both 21, where they filmed their reaction clip to the 1980 debut from the English drummer and singer-songwriter.

The pair, from Indiana, USA, grew up listening to Lil Wayne and Twista, but decided to expand their musical knowledge in a series of first-time listens to other classic tracks across multiple genres, according to People.

"There’s more than just rap out there," Fred told PEOPLE. "There’s so much more than I ever thought."

The viral video sees the twins put the track on and slowly groove along to the start of the song.

One says near the start: "Play that thing!"

As they take in the track, they end up displaying utter glee as Collins' killer drum solo kicks in.

"Let's wake up," says one of the boys as they begin to dance along more energetically.

Naturally, the joyous clip has gone viral on Twitter, with many adoring the boys' enjoyment of the legendary song.

One Twitter user shared the clip, writing: "Two teenagers get schooled by Phil Collins."

Another person commented: "I had not seen these guys before. Just fell down a three hour hole watching a ton of their videos! Swooning over Ella was a gem."

Meanwhile, another fan tweeted: "Seeing them lose it at the drum solo just made my day I've heard it so much over the years, it barely catches my attention anymore."

Elsewhere, a different person wrote: "My kids watch their channel all the time. I really like how they appreciate all genres of music. They were cute listening to 'Jolene'."

"Might be the most pure reaction I’ve ever witnessed," noted a different viewer.

One pleased viewer concluded: "I always like this kind of react videos, not because it's funny (sometimes it's really, really funny, though) but because it's cool to watch people get such genuine enjoyment out of something for the first time."

Finally, film director Duncan Jones - son of legendary rock star David Bowie - tweeted: "Cracking up! Love this. [laughing emoji, heart emoji]."

The boys' mum Tiffany King-Richardson, 43, revealed how proud she was of her boys to People.

Tiffany said: "I want them to do something in life that they love, and that’s music."
