According to TSR, Travis spoke to Radio.wav, and he opened up about how he plans to raise his daughter to be a strong young woman and ‘to be mindful of her power as a Black woman in a time where we are at the forefront of the fight against systemic racism.’
He said that he would be teaching Stormi that she can do whatever a man can do.
‘I feel like it’s way more important now to protect our young Black daughters, women,’ he said.
He continued and explained, ‘Making sure they have the knowledge of just how to carry yourself, how to move in this world, how to be strong, how not to be scared to take that risk.’
