Tom Holland teases chilling Netflix movie with Robert Pattinson and Riley Keough

Spider-Man star Tom Holland has teased his new Netflix film The Devil All The Time.

The 24-year-old British actor plays young Arvin Russell in the film as he is forced to protect his family and loved ones from the assortment of dangerous and sinister characters that converge on him in Knockemstiff, Ohio.

Among the evil forces that threaten Arvin and his family are a crooked sheriff, played by Holland's Marvel Cinematic Universe co-star Sebastian Stan, along with The Batman star Robert Pattinson as an unholy preacher.

Meanwhile, Jason Clarke and Riley Keough portray a dastardly couple that cross paths with Arvin.

Logan Lucky star Riley recently hit headlines for tragic reasons following the suicide of her younger brother Benjamin Keough, son of Lisa Marie Presley.

Elsewhere, IT's Pennywise actor Bill Skarsgard stars as one of Arvin's family members.

The Devil All The Time is also a period drama as it is set during the years between World War II and the Vietnam War.

Tom took to Instagram to tease the film and sharing Netflix's latest promotional images, writing: "Devil All The Time! You gotta see this one".

Naturally, some of Tom's 35 million followers were quick to show their excitement for the actor to take on his next lead role.

One Tom fan wrote in the comments section: "i cant wait for this movie."

Another pleased follower replied: "I can't wait to see it on Netflix."

Meanwhile, another Instagram user wrote: "OH MY GOD...PLEASE DONT LET THIS MOVIE FLOP".

A different person commented on the Netflix Film account stating: "You got me at here's oh my! Robert and Tom In a movie together".

Finally, one fan concluded: "netflix: tom holland: me: YES".

The chilling new thriller comes from director Antonio Campos, whose previous credits include cult tale Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene.

The film is also based on the acclaimed gothic novel by Donald Ray Pollock.

Tom's co-star Robert Pattinson can be seen in cinemas later this month in the delayed Christopher Nolan sci-fi thriller Tenet, which he stars in opposite John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, and Sir Kenneth Branagh.

The Devil All The Time is released on Netflix on September 16, 2020.
