Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer are finally moving ahead with their split, a report from Page Six said today. The outlet claims Tobey and Jennifer first announced their split approximately four years ago, and they’re finally pushing it through the court system.
Meyer went to the Los Angeles County Superior Court to file her divorce documents on the 15th of October. The paperwork was processed on the 28th of October, Page Six claimed on Thursday.
The court documents, obtained by Page Six, claimed Meyer asked for joint and legal custody of their two children together, including the 11-year-old Otis, and Ruby, 13. Fans of the ex-couple know they first tied the knot in September 2007.
However, in October of 2016, Tobey and Meyer broke up after almost a decade of marriage. In her paperwork, Meyer never revealed what specifically led her to split with Tobey. The 43-year-old did, however, note that she wanted to work things out in “mediation.”
Thus far, it’s not known how much money they had in assets, but they did list their $2.9 million home not long after they announced they were going to break up. The news of the couple’s split has come at the same time as additional reports about Maguire’s supposed mental health struggles.

A recent report claimed Tobey hasn’t been doing well ever since he and Jennifer parted ways. One of his worried friends said directly that “someone needs to help him.” Moreover, it was reported that Tobey has been “non-stop partying” ever since he and Jennifer broke up.
Tobey was famous for his Hollywood nightlife escapades at the height of his career, but he slowed down once he and Meyer started getting more serious, however, sources claim he is back to his “old ways” again. Additionally, Tobey has been going out to nightclubs “almost every night of the week,” and he has even been spotted with Leo DiCaprio.
Maguire became a huge success with the original Spider-Man films in the early 2000s. Jennifer Meyer, on the other hand, is known for her jewelry line in addition to her close and personal relationship with Meghan Markle.
