The Chase's Mark Labbett wows with weight loss as he calls himself skinny Beast
It's not known officially how much weight Mark Labbett has lost but last October it was revealed he had trimmed off two and a half stone from his frame
The Chase's Mark Labbett showed off his weight loss with his slimmest photo yet.
Known as The Beast on The Chase, the game show guru rebranded himself as the "skinny Beast" on Twitter on Tuesday.
The TV sensation, 54, proudly paraded his new frame when he put on a too-big pair of trousers in front of the mirror.
It's not known officially how much he has lost, but last October it was revealed he had trimmed two and a half stone from his body.
But The Chase star said he had a "long way to go" before he reached his ideal waistline.
He wrote: "Lost a bit of waistline, still a long way to go :) #skinnybeast#doubletwoshirts."
Compliments were flooding the comments section of his Twitter post as they heaped on the praise for the game show star.
Many people were encouraged to share their own weight loss stories with the star while others confessed they didn't have the same willpower.
Among the crowd, one wrote: "Well done Mark and fair play to you, keep meaning to do do it myself but my will power is non existent."
Others added: "Looking good."
"Keep going pal, it’s hard work but it’s achievable."
"You are doing so well Mark. When I first started my weight loss journey I was 19 stone 7 lbs. Just over 3 years I am now 12 stone 9lbs. Still a few stone to lose to get to my goal weight but it will happen. Keep up the good work."
Once upon a time, Mark turned down the chance to go on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! because he said he couldn't live on the minuscule amounts of rice and beans in 2016.
TV bosses pulled the plug on filming The Chase during coronavirus due to problems amid the ongoing pandemic.
