This Country star Daisy May Cooper left fans in stitches as she shared an epic throwback to a time of matted hair extensions and white powder foundation.

The 34-year-old BAFTA TV award winner took to social media on Monday morning in an attempt to try and cheer up followers that were having "a bad monday."

The mum of two had unearthed an unrecognisable snap that was taken 13 years earlier that features Daisy May alongside a friend.

In the epic snap, the comedian donned a set of bouncy blonde hair extensions and opted for a foundation that might have been a little too pale.

"If anyones having a bad Monday just remember that in 2007 I used to go out looking like this and thought I was hot as f***," Daisy wrote.

The comedian also joked that the photograph was taken around the time she 'auditioned to become a stripper.' She added: "Matted hair extensions and white foundation on point. also around the time I auditioned to be a stripper."

Since sharing the Instagram post, Daisy has been inundated with comments as fans reminisced on some of the questionable fashion decisions that arose in the noughties.

"Tbh, 2007 has a lot to answer for! Why did we think going around like a ghost was a look?" wrote one fan.

Another added: "early 2000s were a killer for me, only guy in South London knocking about in pleather trousers reeking of Joop."

"Don’t forget the tan coloured heels babe. This is the Daisy I first met and I will always love her and her talc face," wrote another.

As always, Daisy May has kept her fans entertained with a series of incredible social media posts as of late.

Just days ago, Daisy entertained fans with a hilarious rendition of a Partridge in a Pear Tree while in the character of Kerry Mucklowe.

"Four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves and some poor bastards in Tier 3," she sang in the entertaining clip.

In yet another recent Christmas-themed Instagram post, the blonde star appeared to take a swipe at people who don't like eating turkey.
