Rapper T.I. has said "f**k you" to critics who made assumptions about the "virginity test" controversy surrounding his family.
T.I. - real name Clifford Harris Joseph Jnr. - made headlines and sparked a furious backlash after he revealed in an interview that he had taken daughter Deyjah to a clinic to check her hymen was still intact.
Last year he told the Ladies Like Us podcast that Deyjah signed a waiver allowing her doctor to share medical to share medical information with him - including whether her hymen is broken.
Amid the furore, T.I. issued an apology to Deyjah, who's now 19, and addressed the issue on T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.
He's also claimed he "exaggerated and embellished" the story for comedic effect, while telling that it had happened when Deyjah was around 15 years old, not 18 as she was at the time he told the story.
But now he's clearing the air and making sure everyone knows that some assumptions made at the time aren't true.
In an interview on The Breakfast Club, he said: "All the other people who jumped to conclusions and got into some weird freaky s**t, man, f**k y'all 'cause that ain't never been Tip.
"Tip ain't never rocked like that.
"Those people who assumed, 'oh, he's in the exam room with her', I never said that. Those people who assumed her mother had no involvement and no knowledge that this was going on, I never said that.
"Those people who assumed, 'he made her do it against her will', I never said that."
He added: "I was apologetic to her, but at the same time, it was still f**k you to them."
He made the revelation late last year, admitting that he felt differently about 15 year old son King being sexually active.
"I will say as of her 18th birthday," T.I. told, "her hymen is still intact."
He previously told Jada Pinkett's Red Table Talk: "From a place of truth, I began to embellish and exaggerate and I think a lot of people took it extremely literal because if you put any of my reputation, who I am as a father, who I've been, I honestly thought people knew me better than that."
T.I. continued: "I never said I was in any exam room, that was an assumption.
"That is a falsity. I never said it was being done present day as an 18 year old."
He said that Deyjah's mum had been present.
