Sylvester Stallone’s heartbreaking tribute to mum Jackie after CBB star dies at 98

Sylvester Stallone has paid a heartbreaking tribute to his late mother Jackie following her recent death.

The Hollywood icon, who previously appeared on CelebrityBig Brother, died at the age of 98 while in her sleep on Monday evening.

Following her sudden death, Rocky legend Sylvester took to social media to gush about his beloved mother.

The 74-year-old actor shared a beautiful photograph of Jackie looking exceptionally proud while sporting a pair of boxing gloves during her son’s Rocky reign.

Alongside the precious throwback snap, Sylvester paid tribute to his encouraging mother who remained his number one fan throughout his incredibly successful career.

Jackie’s heartbroken son penned: “A mother who has always believed and encouraged her sons.

“She was the No.1 fan of Sly and Frank.

“She will be remembered forever for her charisma and love.”

Singer Frank Stallone, Sly's younger brother, posted the sad news on Facebook.

He wrote: "She was a remarkable woman, working out every day, full of spunk and fearless.

"She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was very eccentric and flamboyant person.

"She lived through prohibition, the depression and World War II. I would talk to her for hours about the 20s 30s and 40s.

"It was a history lesson. Her mind was as sharp as a razor till the day she died."

Singer Frank Stallone, Sly's younger brother, posted the sad news about their dear mother on Facebook on Tuesday morning.

He wrote: "She was a remarkable woman, working out every day, full of spunk and fearless.

"She died in her sleep as she had wished. It was hard not to like her, she was very eccentric and flamboyant person..

"She lived through prohibition, the depression and World War II. I would talk to her for hours about the 20s 30s and 40s.

"It was a history lesson. Her mind was as sharp as a razor till the day she died."

As well as being mother to Hollywood legend Sylvester and Frank, Jackie was also mum to late actress Toni D’Alto.
