Amid Suzanne Somers‘ recovery after fracturing her hip, Page Six reported today, Somers found herself falling down the stairs of her home. The outlet claims Somers went under the knife once again except this time for neck surgery.
Reportedly, the 73-year-old will come out and explain to her fans today that she and her husband, Alan Hamel, will have to go on a temporary hiatus from their Facebook Live gatherings because of her recent spill at home.
Page Six claims Somers will come forward and say thank you to all of her fans for being supportive during her recent health scare. On her website, Somers claimed she went through a lot of pain after she fell down the stairs.
According to the 73-year-old, after visiting with her doctor, Somers found out she had two vertebrae pushing on her nerves which was causing the pain. However, the star claimed she had neck surgery and it’s gotten a lot better since then.
Fans of Somer know she recently took a break from promoting her latest book, A New Way to Age, in January of this year. Even though she injured herself and had to take time off, it didn’t stop her from wearing high-heels while doing promotional appearances.

Somers and Alan have been married ever since 1977, and they currently live in Palm Springs, California.
Back in 2019, Somers stirred controversy on her social media when she took to her account to share a picture of herself in celebration of her 73rd birthday.
The star was praised by her fans and followers for still managing to look great into her 70s. Page Six says Hamel was the one to take the picture at their Palm Springs home, and fans were thrilled with her devotion to body positivity.
